The official GOV.SI Ukraine-financial-assistance page sets denarna pomoč at 85% of the basic minimum-income amount for the first adult, 42% for each next adult, 44% for a child, 62% for a child in a single-parent family and 85% for an unaccompanied minor. GOV.SI states that the basic minimum-income amount is EUR 507.43 from 1 April 2026; the first-adult formula is 85% of that current statutory base, subject to the household means test and published conditions.

The official GOV.SI Ukraine-financial-assistance page states: ‘Oseba z začasno zaščito, ki prebiva v Republiki Sloveniji in ni nastanjena v nastanitvenem centru ali drugi nastanitveni kapaciteti, kjer ji je zagotovljena prehrana, je brez zadostnih dohodkov, prejemkov, premoženja oziroma zavezancev in je prijavljena v evidenci brezposelnih oseb, če je lahko, je upravičena do denarne pomoči.’ The benefit retains the source conditions on residence, accommodation, resources and registration; it does not generalise to all foreign residents or all protection statuses.

The official GOV.SI Ukraine-financial-assistance page sets private-accommodation assistance at 100% of the basic minimum-income amount for one person, 130% for two, 160% for three, 190% for four, 210% for five, 230% for six and 250% for seven or more people. The current GOV.SI minimum-income page states that the basic minimum-income amount is EUR 507.43 from 1 April 2026; the amount is reduced by 15% after two years from recognition of temporary-protection status and remains subject to the published household conditions.

The official GOV.SI Ukraine-financial-assistance page states: ‘Osebe z začasno zaščito, ki prebiva v Republiki Sloveniji in ni nastanjena v nastanitvenem centru ali drugi nastanitveni kapaciteti in ki izpolnjuje pogoje za dodelitev denarne pomoči ter ima sklenjeno najemno pogodbo ali dogovor o uporabi nepremičnine, je upravičena do mesečne denarne pomoči za zasebno nastanitev.’ The benefit retains the source conditions on temporary protection, residence, private accommodation, rental/use agreement and the underlying means test; it does not generalise to all renters or all foreign residents.

Basic minimum-income amount for a single person: EUR 507.43; actual assistance is calculated from household composition, income and assets.

The Employment Service of Slovenia (ZRSZ) states that, under the statutory conditions, foreigners who have a permanent residence permit in Slovenia are eligible for social assistance; the claim is made at the competent Centre for Social Work (CSD).

Assessment-base formula by duration: months 1–3 80% (70% minimum, 130% maximum of minimum wage); months 4–6 60% (70% minimum, 110% maximum); months 7–9 60% (100% maximum); months 10–12 60% (90% maximum); months 13–25 50% (70% minimum, 80% maximum). Full-time 2026 limits are EUR 1,037.32 gross minimum and EUR 1,926.44 gross maximum.

The official ZRSZ foreign-worker unemployment-benefit page states: ‘As a foreign national, you are entitled to unemployment benefits under a social insurance agreement between Slovenia and your home country.’ It also states that, if there is no such agreement, the foreign national can exercise the right under the same conditions as Slovenian citizens, including the source-defined residence, registration and insurance conditions. .

Monthly child allowance varies by income class, child order and school status; the official table ranges from EUR 25.70 to EUR 177.24 for the published 2026 classes.

GOV.SI states that the child must have prijavljeno prebivališče v Republiki Sloveniji and that an additional statutory condition is dejansko bivanje v Sloveniji; the claim is handled by CSD at the beneficiary's stalno prebivališče or where most family members actually reside.
